Local Businesses Take Centre Stage

Members of Business Mudgee, Gulgong Chamber of Commerce and Rylstone Kandos Business Chamber gathered at Club Mudgee in June for a special Vice-Regal Business Reception with Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson.

Hosted in the Starlight Room at Club Mudgee, the evening brought together members of all chambers, marking a significant opportunity for the three organisations to come together and represent the region’s diverse business community.

Throughout the reception, local business owners and community leaders had the opportunity to speak with the Vice-Regal couple about the industries, enterprises and people shaping the region, while also sharing some of the challenges faced by businesses operating in regional communities.
The evening highlighted the importance of collaboration across Mudgee, Gulgong, Kandos and Rylstone. While each town has its own identity, history and business landscape, the reception demonstrated the strength that comes from sharing ideas, building relationships and speaking with a collective regional voice.

Business Mudgee, the Gulgong Chamber of Commerce and the Rylstone Kandos Business Chamber thanked Her Excellency and Mr Wilson for taking the time to visit the region and hear directly from its local business representatives.
