Lue Public School
Sep 08, 2026
Students in years 3 to 6 from Lue Public School joined students from Cassilis PS and Glen Alice PS on a 4 day excursion to Canberra last week. They participated in a wide variety of learning experiences including the Australian Institute of Sport, Australian Mint, Electoral Education Centre, Australian War Memorial, Museum of Australian Democracy and Parliament House. The excursion happens every 4 years for the small schools group to ensure every primary age student experiences Canberra and learns about our democracy by the time they leave Primary School. Of course there were a lot of fun activities also included such as ten pin bowling and snow play at Corin Forest.
This is one of our most memorable excursions and is well subsidised for parents by our P&C, school funds and the PACER rebate to ensure every student is able to attend.
