Spring in Mudgee wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Sculptures in the Garden, one of the region’s most anticipated annual events.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Rosby Wines, this much-loved exhibition transforms vineyards, gardens and open paddocks into an outdoor gallery, showcasing more than 300 sculptures created by artists from across Australia.

Celebrating its 16th year, Sculptures in the Garden returns from 10–25 October 2026, inviting locals and visitors alike to immerse themselves in art, creativity and the beauty of the Mid-Western region.

Unlike a traditional gallery experience, visitors can wander through the landscape at their own pace, discovering contemporary sculptures nestled among the vines, meeting the artists behind the works and watching live sculpting demonstrations throughout the exhibition.

As an independent, not-for-profit community event, every ticket sold and every partnership plays an important role in supporting Australian sculptors while also contributing to the ongoing growth of the Mid-Western Regional Council’s public art collection.
