Oktoberfest Comes to Club Mudgee

A new annual tradition kicks off with steins, schnitzels and song this spring. Club Mudgee is set to launch its first-ever Oktoberfest celebration this September - and it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable night of food, music, and festive cheer under the marquee in their beer garden.

For just $79, guests will enjoy a fully immersive Bavarian experience, including a traditional dinner featuring hearty classics like Bratwurst, Weiner Schnitzel and giant pretzels, all crafted with care by the Club Mudgee kitchen team. To top it off, your first stein of beer is included, and you’ll get to keep the stein as a souvenir - the perfect way to remember a night full of great company and even greater atmosphere.

CEO Sharon Arrow says Oktoberfest marks the beginning of something special for the club and the community.

“We’re passionate about creating moments that matter, and Oktoberfest is the perfect blend of fun, flavour and tradition. This is just the beginning of what we hope becomes an annual celebration for Mudgee.”

The marquee will come alive with music from one of Sydney’s best Oompah Loompah bands, bringing the signature energy of Oktoberfest to town - complete with lederhosen, polka rhythms and all the cheer you’d expect from Germany’s most iconic festival.

Head Chef Brendan Nolan is excited to showcase a menu inspired by classic German fare.

“We’re keeping things traditional and flavourful - think slow-cooked meats, warm spices and comforting textures. It’s a real celebration of Bavarian food culture.”

While this is the inaugural Oktoberfest for Club Mudgee, the team has gone all out to ensure it feels authentic and memorable from the very first stein. From the themed décor and live entertainment to the carefully crafted menu, every detail is designed to transport guests (if only for a night) straight to the heart of Bavaria.

With doors opening at 6:30pm and limited tickets available, this over-18s event promises to deliver a truly memorable night for locals and visitors alike.
