Every October, Mudgee turns pink in support of the McGrath Foundation, and no one embraces the spirit quite like James Adlmayer owner of Mudgee Music.
Located in the heart of the Town Hall Arcade, James has become something of a local legend during Pink Up Mudgee - thanks to his unforgettable pink outfits, bright wigs, and even a pink-dyed beard. His goal? To raise awareness, support breast cancer services, and bring a smile to everyone who walks by.
“I just want to bring a little joy and get people talking,” James says. “If someone smiles or takes a photo, that’s a win - and if they donate to the McGrath Foundation, even better.”
So, whether you’re looking to buy an instrument, chat about music, or simply admire the creativity of a man in pink from head to toe, make sure you pop into Mudgee Music this Pink Up Mudgee.
