Working from her studio in central Mudgee, local artist Rachel Melchers paints colourful, joy-filled landscapes - inspired by both country and coast.
Over the Flavours of Mudgee weekend, Rachel will be opening the doors and welcoming visitors to her lovely studio / gallery space. From Fri 25th – Mon 28th September (10am-1pm) you’ll be able to view her latest collection of oil paintings. Come along to the studio, chat with the artist herself and enjoy a cup of tea and cake while you do so! Paintings will be available to purchase and take home with you.

Silky Oaks Farm & Studio
Nestled on our small farm in Kains Flat, Silky Oaks Farm & Studio is a welcoming creative space where people can slow down, connect and rediscover the joy of making.
With over 30 years’ experience as a mentor and educator, Glenyse offers relaxed, small-group mosaic workshops designed with beginners in mind, providing plenty of individual guidance in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
Monthly Open Studio sessions also give mosaic enthusiasts the opportunity to work on their own projects at their own pace over a cuppa and good conversation.
From September, Silky Oaks Farm & Studio will also be attending local markets with a collection of handcrafted mosaics, reclaimed timber toys, watercolour artwork and other handmade pieces inspired by a slower, more sustainable way of living.

DANCE WITH ATTITUDE
Building confidence, one dancer at a time.
Welcome to Dance with Attitude Mudgee, where students of all ages build confidence, develop skills and discover a lifelong love of dance in a supportive environment. Led by Miss Naomi Bishop ARAD, a Royal Academy of Dance Registered Teacher with 26+ years’ experience, our studio welcomes beginners through to dedicated dancers.
Dance with Attitude offers RAD Ballet, GW Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Performing Arts and private coaching for examinations, competitions and performances, along with Bridal Waltz lessons by appointment. Students also enjoy opportunities to perform at community events, complete Royal Academy of Dance examinations and pursue teacher training qualifications.
At Dance with Attitude, it’s about more than dance - it’s about inspiring every student to believe in themselves.
